Cognos Selects Montera for Application Management Outsourcing Contract
Strategic Relationship to Provide Application Management Services Worldwide
Montera Corporation, a leading provider of Application Management services, today
announced the signing of a two-year contract with Ottawa-based Cognos Inc., the
world leader in business intelligence and corporate performance management. Under
the terms of the agreement, Montera will provide world wide, 24/7 support and application
management services for key, mission critical Cognos applications.

Montera's Application Management services enhance the ability to deliver and maintain
mission-critical business applications. Under the terms of the contract, Montera
will support the Cognos global sales force Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
applications. Montera's responsibilities will include developing and testing requested
software changes, controlling software versions and issues during development, merging
software changes into released code and objectively assuring the quality of software.
