Sales Representative

Location: Ottawa
Region: Ottawa, Toronto & Montreal
Relevant Work Experience: 4 - 8 years

Job Description:

As a sales professional within the Systems Integration Portfolio Management, CRM & BI market, you will be expected to: define companies to target, harvest new business from target companies through various marketing campaigns and sales strategies, including cold calling and in person meetings and presentations, and respond to bids and proposals. You will be responsible for managing strategic client relationships using state-of-the-art CRM tools and growing and landing net new clients.

The Sales Representative should be able to leverage prior experience to bring higher value solution offering to the Clients. The successful candidate must bring a successful track record in building a strong sales pipeline and having good closing results.

An ideal candidate will have strong regional business contacts, Knowledge of the Systems Landscape and track record of up-selling to existing accounts. This is a quota-carrying position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively promoting Montera’s capabilities as a strategic client relationship/partnership.
  • Aggressively pursue and close new business.
  • Drive & Close selling opportunities in strategic clients.
  • Establish trust, rapport and credibility with client senior leadership, operation managers and business users.
  • Target opportunities that fit Montera’s market development objectives.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Perform individual marketing efforts to promote mid-market and Fortune 500 retail companies.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (French and English preferably).
  • Proven track record selling Software Solutions.
  • Experience selling services where there are a many decision-influencers, including C-Levels and up.
  • Ability to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly account opportunity and revenue streams.
  • Managing relationships with existing accounts and selling new business to existing accounts.
  • Prospecting and cold calling abilities required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent sales training.
  • Technically savvy.
